46: Greg Wilson

The master of the re-edit, Greg Wilson ruled the early ‘80s underground, spinning the electro-funk sound of labels such as Prelude and Tommy Boy around Manchester, including the infamous Hacienda. Stepping out of the game for 20 years, it turned out to be business as usual when he returned in 2003, albums such as ‘Credit To The Edit’ spreading his name amongst a new generation of clubbers and helping him become a permanent fixture on the club and festival circuit.

Catch him playing at Vintage Festival 29th - 31st July, where he is also helping curate a range of DJs from historic club eras gone-by, and check his podcast for a journey through the best of pre-house dance... plus a bit of Paul Weller.
