Free download: Timo Maas 'The Hunted (Livio & Roby Remix)'
Timo Maas has just made a remix of his new single 'The Hunted', taken from his new 'Lifer Concluded EP', available as an exclusive free download to DJ Mag. The remix is by hot Romanian pairing Livio & Roby (pictured below).
The track features James Lavelle, the legendary founder of Mo'Wax Records who is also curating this year's Meltdown Festival in London in the UK this summer.
The track is one of the final batch of remixes from his acclaimed 'Lifer' album, with Fur Coat (Crosstown), Maceo Plex as Maetrik and Addison Groove also offering up reinterpretations.
Timo has been producing a remix for Hackman on Halcyon recently, and also “a super-exciting new project” for My Favorite Robot — more will apparently be revealed in the fullness of time.
Production partner Santos and Timo have also been readying the next release on their own Rockets & Ponies label, which comes from German jazz musician Wolfgang Haffner. Remixes come from Ricardo Villalobos & Max Loderbauer, Nightmares On Wax and Timo Maas & Acid Mondays.
