D.RAMIREZ & GUY WILLIAMS' CARNIVAL HOOK-UPS

Stream their new release and DJ mixes in advance of our Carnival party

D.Ramirez (pictured) and Guy Williams, two of the UK's hottest techno/house properties, have done special DJ mixes for DJ Mag ahead of our Carnival 'Heroes' party in Notting Hill towards the end of the month.

They have also revealed that they have been working together on new music, and have given us the exclusive first play of their new single release for Great Stuff Records. The 'Motherload EP' is released on Great Stuff on September 8th.

'No Guarantees' is a sleazy tech-house groover, while 'Get It Clear' is more jackin' and elastic. Hear them here:

To celebrate the release of the EP, Guy and D.Ramirez — real name Dean Marriott — will be going back-to-back at DJ Mag's Carnival party, promoted in association with the West Side Story promotions company.

The all-star line-up is headed up by Darren Emerson, ably assisted by Smokin' Jo, Terry Farley, Severino from Horse Meat Disco, Hannah Holland, Barry Ashworth from the Dub Pistols, Sophie Lloyd, the Ghetto Funk Allstars, and Adam Saville and Carl Loben from DJ Mag.

The event takes place on August bank holiday weekend at The Masons Arms, on the Notting Hill Carnival route, on Sunday 24th and Monday 25th August from 2pm — 2pm. More info here

Early bird tickets for the Monday bash are priced just £10, plus a £1 booking fee, available here

The carnival party at the Masons is always one of the highlights of Notting Hill for the dance music industry, and with the Sancho Panza and Good Times soundsystems not operating this year, it's sure to be busier than ever. Be sure to grab your tickets early.
