Everybody say Om!

The Californian house heads hit up London town

Known for their funk-infused philosophy, San Francisco's Om Records of have made it their mission to deliver the freshest house, hip-hop and downbeat to thirsty, groove starved ears. For the last 13 years they've dropped dope cuts from Mark Farina, Derrick Carter, Greenskeepers, Miguel Migs, People Under the Stairs, DJ Sneak and tons more. Having followed a more electronic slant recently the label remains as vibrant as ever, and now they've decided it's time to invade London's clubland with their own monthly London residency.

'Getting Nesty' got off to a roaring start last month at the small-but-perfectly-formed Plastic People. This Thursday 18th October will see them returning with a typically maverick DJ line-up. Parisian D'Julz of Freak 'n' Chic fame will be bringing his tech-tinged bumping house to the turntables, and Mike Monday will be on hand to provide the dirtier, wronger cuts, turning the dark on in the murky confines of the dancefloor. Lastly, label bigwig DJ Fluid will be spinning one of his glitch-ridden, tough selections. You can't miss it basically!

£7 on the door/£5 NUS. The night runs from 10pm–3am - see you there!
