EXCLUSIVE: AKRA MIX

Plus Mock & Toof ready remix album

Akra, aka Nick Woolfson, is probably best known as being one half of disco duo Mock & Toof. But his own Teng label has also been making ground, Akra's most recent reverb drenched deep houser, 'TunnelVision', backed with remixes from Matthias Vogt and Iron Curtis.

It's Mock and Toof, however, to whom Nick returns for 'Temporary Echoes', out 30th September on Tiny Sticks/M&T Inc, a remix album featuring Wolf & Lamb – with a re-rub of 'Shoeshine Boogie', which also appeared on their debut album - Young Marco, DMX Crew and more. Our personal picks on first listen include Kink and Neville Watson's acidic tweak of 'Farewell to Wendo', a previous DJ Mag Killer single, and Lauer's swelling and breaking take on 'Confusion Time'. You can check the full tracklist here. The album will be released fully digitally on on two 12" samplers.

We have an exclusive mix from Akra below.
