Win the chance to DJ at EXIT Festival this year
DJ Mag have teamed up with EXIT and Beatport to give one aspiring DJ the chance of a lifetime...
EXIT are giving one lucky aspiring DJ the chance to play at this year’s festival 12th - 15th July.
In partnership with DJ Mag and Beatport, the festival has launched a mix competition, giving emerging DJs the opportunity to win a slot at the massive festival taking place at the Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad, Serbia.
The winner of the competition will share a bill with some of the biggest names in global techno and house on the festival’s Dance Arena stage. Also set to play that stage are names such as Nina Kraviz, Solomun, Maceo Plex, Tale of Us, Carl Craig and Rødhåd. More names on the bill include Richie Hawtin, Ben Klock, Amelie Lens and Adam Beyer B2B Ida Engberg.
To enter, all you have to do is upload a 30-minute house or techno mix to your Soundcloud page along with your DJ name, “Exit 2018 Competition” in the title and the tag #ExitDanceArenaCompetition. Mixes will have to be emailed to [email protected].
According to the festival, they are looking for “a unique and exclusive mix, showing your talent, originality, creativity and passion for electronic music.”
All mixes must be submitted by 18th May. The top ten techno mixes of the competition will be announced on the 25th May and the overall winner will be announced on the 1st of June. The decision will be made by a panel of judges from EXIT Festival team, DJ Mag, Beatport and a special guest judge - Boris Brejcha, who will be playing at the festival.
EXIT Festival is looking frankly unmissable this year, with more names on the huge line-up including Helena Hauff, Midland, Red Axes, DJ Tennis, Mike Servito and Tin Man to name but a few. Each night of the festival’s underground focussed No Sleep Novi Sad stage will be hosted by a uniquely excellent promoter: Fabric, The Bunker, Arma 17 and Goa Club.
