Founder of Pikes Ibiza starts campaign to raise money for urgent cancer treatment

The founder of the White Isle's most iconic hotel needs our help...

Tony Pike, the British-born Australian founder of infamous Ibiza party mainstay Pikes Hotel, has launched a campaign to raise money for urgent cancer treatment.

Writing on his GoFundMe page, Pike revealed, "I am 84 years old, and I have prostate cancer and skin cancer. People think I am a multimillionaire because the hotel is sold. The opposite is true."

Pike has set his goal at €26,000.

Originally opened by Pike as the San Antonio hotel in the late 1970s, the hotel earned its reputation as the original home of the Ibiza house party throughout the 1980s and beyond.

Last August, Paul Oakenfeld hosted a four-week "Generations" residency at Pikes.
