New 'Shake/Oscillator EP' out now

Releasing a new EP, holding down residencies at Pacha NYC and Paris Social Club, spinning on a cruise ship and teaching yoga on the beach. At 26 weeks pregnant you might expect most humans to be slowing down, but DJ Gina Turner isn’t quite ready to get off her feet yet.

Today (January 9) marks the release of her new Shake/Oscillator EP out on Ones To Watch, a division of Mixmash Records. Exploring Gina’s harder and more minimal side, the EP features 'Shake,' a minimal, bouncy dance floor heater featuring driving four to the floor bass, production talents of Tiny Colorado and a vocal sample instructing listeners to 'shake it,' a likely reaction to hearing this track in the club.

Starting with a pulsating and raw beat, ‘Oscillator’ (with some additional production from Club Cheval) builds into a deep and hard tech house groove with massive bass and industrial synths repeating a menacingly catchy phrase to produce one electrifying song. The Shake/Oscillator EP is rounded out by remixes from; Canadian techno monster John Roman, Dirtybird DC bad boy Worthy and French production wiz Douster. A verified bundle of big tunes, the Shake/Oscillator EP marks an explosive start to 2014 for DJ Gina Turner and co.

Hot on the heels of this release (literally hours after) Gina will set sail on HARD's Holy Ship! while she’ll spin the Boys Noize Records party, teach two beachfront yoga classes for cruisers and spin a sunrise b2b set with her hubby and soon-to-be daddy, Laidback Luke.
