Free EP from Grizzly and Local Action
Melé and Contakt swap remixes
To celebrate the release of Melé's superb 'Mugged' EP today on Sinden's Grizzly, the label has teamed up with DJmag favourites Local Action (run by our garage/funky reviewer Tom Lea) to release a free EP.
With Liverpool lad Melé remixing Contakt's 'Rhodophyta', recently released on Local Action with a remix from mighty Detroit legend Rolando, into a footwork styled banger, Contakt returns the favour on 'Trappin' transforming it into a bass heavy house number.
Manchester's most articulate download service Boomkat are also selling Melé's 'Mugged' and Contakt's'Rhodophyta' now so get involved.
Also, watch out for Paul Woolford's remix of T.William's 'Heartbeats', coming soon on Local Action - as one of our favourite tracks of last year, we can't wait to hear his interpretation.
