Sebastien San has been at the forefront of French dance music for a while now, with his own imprint Ab Initio becoming synonymous with quality electronica from the underground.
The first two releases on the imprint were cracking and thankfully 'Ab Initio 03' continues the trend, with Sebastien raising the bar once again. Treading the line between house and techno, lead track 'Drumology' is a percussive work-out that could slot neatly into any set. Meanwhile, 'The Gauntlet' is a dubby exploration of techno that takes us into deeper and darker territory.
Because we love you, we've managed to nab the third and final track on the EP, entitled 'Wolfgang', and offer it to you to download for free. Uplifting dub pads soar through snappy drum patterns and a surging baseline to take you away to another place.
