FREEDOM OF THE DJ: EPISODE ONE

Featuring punditry from Zed Bias, Greg Wilson, Boddika and our very own music editor, Adam Saville, 'Introducing' is the first episode of 'Freedom Of The DJ', an eight-part video series about dance music culture.

Talking us through the roots of the DJ trade — from hip-hop and disco through to present day — the show explores the evolution of dance music over the years. Watch it below.

Next week will see the release of Episode Two, a scene focus on Liverpol, and a blu Music Tour will visit Glasgow, Dublin, Bristol, Sheffield, Newcastle, Leeds, Birmingham and Nottingham with the likes of Erol Alkan, Andrew Weatherall, Deadboy and Jackmaster DJing.
