Remember Friday nights down your local leisure centre? Underage ice rink raves with a happy hardcore soundtrack, skating to Baby D after necking two litres of Babysham in the car park? No? Must just be us, then...
This month, however, the concept is returning. This time, in the slightly more salubrious setting of Somerset House with an infinitely better soundtrack.
Hitting the ice on Friday 16th November, a series of 19 parties will take over the rink, hosted by some of the most eminent names in dance music.
We Love (16th Nov) Sunday Best (17th Nov), Bugged Out Weekender (21st Nov), Future Disco (23rd Nov), Ministry of Sound Radio (7th Dec), Joey Negro (12th Wed) and Ibiza Rocks (4th Jan) are all on board, plus we've rustled up our own party too: DJ Mag presents Moda Black with Jaymo & Andy George, Maxxi Soundsystem and the DJ Mag Allstars on Thursday 13th December.
