Gimmick London

Tech house label readies London showcase

Purveyors of underground tech house, Gimmick Records have their sights set on London this Saturday as they take over 93 Feet East, the Brick Lane rave den that houses the infamous Fuse afterparties.

Since launching in 2007 the Swiss label – founded by Dado Rey and Tetsuya Ura has gone from strength to strength, releasing a string of solid house and tech house grooves

that have pricked the ears of discerning DJs worldwide.

No slouches on the events side either, Gimmick Nights have rocked some of the biggest dancefloors on the planet, from Space Ibiza through Miami, Milan, Paris, Barcelona and more!

Now taking residence at 93 Feet East, on the last Saturday of the month, Gimmick are set to make their mark on East London’s thriving house scene.

The launch party sees label founders Dado Rey and Tetsuya Ura joined by lynchpins Victor FL, Dani Junquera plus DJmag’s very own Joe Roberts and Simon Kelly (the latter as one half of dB24).

Expect deep, tech and tribal house music with a carnival twist. It is free entry before 10pm and only a fiver thereafter.

It would be rude not to, really.
