Gorillaz lock tour including first U.S. Demon Dayz festival with Erykah Badu, more

Damon Albarn’s animated band drop their sixth album via Parlophone on 29th June...

Gorillaz have locked a North America tour to follow the release of their forthcoming album ‘The Now Now’ on 29th June. The run of shows, which you can see in full below, includes their inaugural Demon Dayz festival in the States.

That event, which takes place at Pico Rivera Sports Arena & Grounds on place Saturday 20th October in L.A., sees Gorillaz joined by Erykah Badu, The Internet and DRAM. The full line-up is rounded out by Little Simz, Kilo Kish, Ana Tijoux, Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, Tony Allen, Las Cafeteras and Chulita Vinyl Club.

Gorillaz are already locked for performances at Malahide Castle in Dublin (9th June), Sónar Festival in Barcelona (15th June), Makuhari Messe in Japan (21st June), Rock Werchter in Belgium (5th July), Open'er Festival in Poland (6th July) and Roskilde Festival in Denmark (7th July).

Damon Albarn’s animated band also dropped the first two tracks from ‘The Now Now’ last week (1st June). Check out the full list of Gorillaz U.S. tour dates below. Tickets go on full sale this Friday (8th June).
