Helena Hauff, Actress and Giant Swan are among the first names to be announced for Berlin Atonal this year.
The unique, experimental festival takes place between 22nd and 26th August in Berlin’s unmistakeable, expansive Kraftwerk building.
Also set to play during the event are the likes of Danish DJ Courtesy, Skee Mask, Veronica Vasicka and British Murder Boys. Beatrice Dillon will also bring her revered live set to the festival.
The event is celebrated for its focus on Audio/Visual performance and there will be no shortage of stunning multi-sensory experiences at this year’s edition as specially curated performances will come from artists such as Gábor Lázár, Iona Fortune, Lanark Artefax, Lucrecia Dalt.
Danish artist Astrid Sonne will also present a new A/V show. We we caught up with her earlier this year as part of our Fresh Kicks mix series to mark the release of her debut LP, ‘Human Lines’.

Another festival in Berlin this year is 5001, which takes place from 17th-19th August in a former military bunker.
