VICTORIA WAREHOUSE, TRAFFORD PARK, MANCHESTER,THURSDAY 28TH – SUNDAY 31ST MARCH

Over the Easter weekend, Manchester juggernaut WHP will open the two smaller rooms of its Victoria Warehouse venue to 1500 eager ravers for four one-off events with line-ups to rival even the promotion's full-scale seasonal events.

Fresh from releasing the latest in his Skreamizm series, pioneering dubstep producer Skream will bring round seven to the ex-industrial storage facility, with Warp's wonky skweee experimentalist Rustie and Swamp81 headman Loefah on Thursday.

The following night, the heads of label Ostgut Ton jet across from their Berlin hub to remind Manchester why they are still considered the life and soul of the German techno scene. Bringing a taste of its clubbing branch Berghain to Manchester's most prized warehouse venue, it's guaranteed to be a night of hypnotic depth, exploring the darker realms of the techno spectrum with DJ appearances from residents Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann and Steffi.

Batting for the locals, homegrown Manc party Kaluki have been drafted in to host a piece of house history on Saturday, with a party to launch Maya Jane Coles' debut album, rumoured to be released later this month on her I/AM/ME label. With the help of Heidi, Eats Everything and Subb-an, names certainly capable of filling the venue's gargantuan main room, this sitting is sure to reach similarly electric levels of energy, throwing Warehouse regulars' minds through the roof in the process.

Rounding off the weekend festivities will be mainroom masters Alesso & friends, bringing the sound of the big room explosion to the intimate rooms of the WHP complex. Like throwing a match in a firework factory... this shit is going to go off!

DEVIATION, XOYO, LONDON, FRIDAY 1ST MARCH

BENJI B | JAMIE XX | ACTRESS

Led by Benji B, future-thinking club promoters Deviation have decided to lay their head at classy new home XOYO, Shoreditch, after their debut party at the beginning of February. Taking on a monthly first Friday residency, the next date has pulled a line-up of DJs from its deeply bedded foundations trailing back to the tail-end of the last century. Alongside the bossman and host MC Judah, indie's favourite knob twiddler Jamie xx will showcase the futuristic atmospherics that propelled him to such chart bothering heights, while Werk Discs iconoclast Actress is on board to offer an insight into the workings of his dark subconscious with a twilight zone DJ set to deviate the dancefloor's thoughts into otherworldly realms.

RANDOM 6TH BIRTHDAY , THE SOURCE, BAR, MAIDSTONE, SATURDAY 16TH MARCH

Quickly becoming Kent's most sought-out club due to its strict diet of cutting-edge beats and mind-blowing bass, The Source Bar might be most known as the home to Nic Fanciulli and his Saved empire, but it's also caught the eye of Ibiza's Random. The Random crew have called upon DC10 and Circo Loco favourite Shonky for scientifically selected chunky tech and spacey deep house, with support from Judgement Day's Tristan Ingram. Contrary to the implications of the name, Random is no night thrown together willy-nilly; its strenuously considered approach to programming has made its name as one of the most solidly conceived parties in the South — not to mention Ibiza.

METROPOLIS PRESENTS REDLIGHT, WIRE, LEEDS TUESDAY 5TH MARCH

REDLIGHT | ROUTE 94 | MAK & PASTEMAN

Now crossing a decade into their groundbreaking nights across Leeds, Metropolis have made their name as one of the UK's leading forces in bass music, with regular innings at Manchester's WHP. This month, though, their eyes are firmly on their hometown. Utilising tidy den of iniquity Wire to showcase the sharpest tools in the bass box, with the innovative, jungle-influenced Redlight holding headline duties with his cut 'n' paste dancefloor raveology, the infectious Route 94 will be in the club to hold the support fort alongside dreamy garage duo Mak & Pasteman. Bass in the place, Leeds!

HOPE WORKS, SHEFFIELD SATURDAY 2ND MARCH

BLAWAN | PANGAEA | LOSHEA | CHRIS DUCKENFIELD

Label and promotional outfit Mixed In Sheffield (no points for guessing where) is making its 2013 debut at its very own super smart arts/music warehouse space this month. Opened last year, it played host to the likes of Chris Duckenfield and Loshea, who ensured the vaults of this ex-WW1 gun barrel factory were pounded with the heavy bombardment of 4/4 ammunition. This year, however, the only guns will be of the finger variety, induced by the massive techno of Blawan and shattered futurism of Hessle Audio's Pangaea to play the Hope Works warehouse. Don't expect smooth edges, think choppy beats, cutting visuals and the smoky glaze of what every warehouse party should be — Leeds' riddim hunters will be more than catered for.
