Hunee has announced a 10-week residency at London’s XOYO. It will run from 12th October to 14th December.
No line-ups have yet been announced but February’s DJ Mag UK cover star revealed he will invite people that “continue to inspire me with their ear, taste, style, craft and spirit”.
Hunee’s full statement read:
“In the last year I played twice at XOYO, once with MCDE and a few months ago with Ben UFO and Shackleton, both nights were musically quite different, but they both were exciting and fun and adventurous. When I got ‘that email’ from the club, I thought, this could be something. And well, now it is. In October 2018, I will start a three month residency at XOYO in London, playing each Friday for ten weeks in a row, together with people who have and continue to inspire me with their ear, taste, style, craft and spirit. Plus, a big London inspiration, the Brilliant Corners family, will transform and host the second room for the whole duration of the residency. I am delighted!”
Ben UFO finished his XOYO residency in June, which featured Courtesy, DJ Stingray, Lena Willikens, Optimo (Espacio), Call Super, Objekt and many more. XOYO also recently landed the no. 58 spot in this year’s Top 100 Clubs poll.
