IBIZA REVIEW: CAPADI REBELS BOAT PARTY

Ibiza sets sail

Playa Den Bossa based events crew, Capadi are into a fourth season of running their twice weekly boat parties Capadi Ipya, which set sail from Marina Botafoch in Ibiza Town.

Well-known DJs from Cocoon, Cadenza, Desolat and also Minus have all gone-out to-sea on Catamaran Capadi with the rebellious outfit and has been gaining momentum and fans each year.

The DJ Mag Ibiza crew arrived on Marina Botafoch around 5pm along with another 100-plus Capadi Rebels and as we embarked onto the Catamaran we were treated to an hour-long free bar serving ice-cold San Miguel and Sangria as we set sail upon a rebellious adventure.

The deck boasted residents Kraai and Denzil Bilgic who were handling an impressive sound system with the REBELS’ particular style of deep-tech house.

The Capadi following, which boasted an atmosphere-rich, friendly international crowd got into motion, dancing from side to side, top to bottom of the catamaran with every build up and every drop triggering a wave-like reaction.

With the party now in full flow and the drinks flowing freely, the anchor was thrown over board to allow a cheeky disco-dip in the Mediterean.

Back on board we were treated to a breathtaking sunset over Es Vedra. As darkness fell our journey back to shore felt like a whole new experience as the party became more intimate with people gathering within the deck area to dance off what was truly an amazing journey.
