Involved At Turnmills

Some of dance music's brightest DJ talents will perform at Turnmills this Thursday for a special fund-raising event.

This Thursday (9th November), some of the brightest young DJs in dance music will perform at Turnmills in London, for a special fund-raising club night.

Involved, a US-based company run by a group of volunteers, has organised the event to raise money for charity UNICEF.

It forms part of the company's ongoing commitment to get clubbers and dance music fans involved in fund-raising.

"We've got some great talent performing on the night," said Steve Coe, Involved's founder.

"It's our first big event in London, and we're looking forward to it."

On the night, Tim Deluxe, Jonathan Lisle, Paolo Mojo, Mutiny, Omid 16b, Luke Fair, Streetlife DJs, Dubfunk and Dave Robertson & Jon Gurd will be playing.

Micky Slim, Nick Liousias, Mark Fanciulli and others will also spin on the night.

Over $50,000 US has already been raised by Involved, who has in the past, come up with innovative and exciting ways to raise money through dance music projects.

"Involved is now getting so big, that we need to start hiring people full-time," commented Steve, who also happens to be DJ Sasha's dad.

"We're just proud to be able to raise awareness for UNICEF, and the charity really likes us, because we're so wacky and different to their other fund-raisers."

Clubbers wishing to attend Involved will have to donate a minimum of £5 to get into Turnmills, which is a bargain considering that all the DJs are playing for free.
