J DILLA'S 'THE DIARY' LP TO BE RELEASED

Lost original album sees the light of day

Great news for J Dilla fans, the estate of the late James Yancy have announced a new unreleased LP titled 'The Diary'. Many Dilla fans belive this is the 'lost' album which was meant to be released way back in the early 2000s on MCA.

The album which is going to be released on his own imprint Pay Jay will feature a selection of top producers rumoured to include Pete Rock, Nottz, Madlib, Karriem Riggins and mixed by Jay's old engineer Dave Cooley. Currently the project is without a release date but we understand that it will be out in spring.
