Hot Creations boss launches underground offshoot label
Jamie Jones has launched an offshoot to his wildly sucessful Hot Creations inprint with self-produced three-track EP.
Hottrax, will apparently be "dedicated to a more underground dance floor orientated aesthetic" and will be "only for the headstrong!"
Jones first referenced the launch of a new label while responding to claims that he was 'selling out' after Hot Natured's 'Benediction' made it into the UK Top 40 charts.
On first listen the tracks have more of a rolling edge, but are not dissimilar to some of the more recent Hot Creations output, perhaps clearing the way for a more consistent run of accessible tracks on the main label whilst filtering the underground releases onto Hottrax. Watch this space!
