JUSTIN JAY UK DEBUT

At Egg London this Saturday 10th August

Justin Jay, recently selected by Pete Tong as a 'Future Star', is making his UK debut on Saturday 10th August at Egg London for Heroes.

The prodigiously talented 20-year old from LA was picked up by Claude VonStroke and integrated into the tight knit San Franciscobased Dirtybird family. Justin’s releases for the label and his recent work for Southern Fried have brought him some very notable supporters including Jamie Jones, Lee Foss, Nick Monaco, M A N I K, Daniel Dexter and Uner. He will also be playing in Ibiza at the notorious Dirtybird party at Sankey’s.

September sees the release of his three-track EP ‘The Jaguar’ on Culprit, which has been the result of an organically built relationship with the LA based imprint, and includes songs inspired by LA and the label’s sound and credo.

Joining him in delivering the deeper sounds on Egg’s newly revamped middle floor will be ALiVE Recordings bossman Tom Budden, fresh from his recent release on Pets Recordings, and resident Jim Warboy. Downstairs, meanwhile, NYC based Boris will be serving up a more pumped up techy vibe alongside Tronic boss Christian Smith, whose ‘Second Life’ collaboration with WEBBHA is currently riding high in the techno charts.

Check Justin's recent mix for last weekend's Hard Summer festival, which took place in his hometown of LA.
