Kidology Takes Over First Friday At The Cross

Mark Wilkinson's pioneering house party moves to intimate Kings Cross venue

After the departure of The Cross' pioneering polysexual weekly Fiction some thought Fridays would never be the same again. Yet weeks later and already a host of exiting promotions have been drafted in to replace it.

By far the biggest eyebrow raiser is the unveiling of Kidology's residence in the first Friday of the month slot. Run by Mark Wilkinson, Kidology has risen to become one of London's most celebrated house nights in the recent years with hedonistic exploits at The End and Ministry of Sound to name just two.

Now Kidology's monthly residence at the uniquely intimate yet spacious North London venue represents the most emphatic step yet in their sharp ascendance.

Priding themselves on quality house at its finest, Kidology is renowned for bringing together a cosmopolitan crowd that leave pretensions behind and indulge in a heavy dose of good old fashioned fun.

Opening this Friday 6th April, Kidology's exciting Cross residency will kick off with Mark Wilkinson himself and former Streets keyboard player turned house head, Eddie Kid in the main room.

In the dark arch, Yousef will be uniting slick sleazy beats with a dark and dirty groove whilst Hooked signings Janette Slack & Tyrrell back him up with their own flavours. Meanwhile, the third arch will get down to the unique house vibes of Bliss with Tim Priestley, Jamie Wadman and WeHateU all spinning between 11pm and 5am.

If you do get down there, keep an eye out for dancers dressed in a 'kid style' (think Harajuku Girls meets Punky Brewster!) handing out sweets, inflatable beach balls and glowing eye glasses.
