Lashes In Recovery

Lisa Lashes has apologized to fans after cancelling four gigs this February.

Following a routine operation, the queen of hard dance was kept in hospital after developing a severe post-op infection. With a punishing tour schedule which regularly sees her taking on 200 gigs a year, the DJ was disappointed to have to cancel gigs, but was left with no choice after being rushed back to hospital.

Last Friday's gig in Savoy Theatre, Cork, Ireland (8th February), and Saturday's gig at Elevate in Bognor, Wales, (9th Feb) were both cancelled, with gigs this Thursday and Friday in Nottingham and Galway, Ireland (14th,15th Feb) also called off. Two more gigs have been ruled out, in Leicester (19th Feb), and Seoul, Korea (23rd Feb) prior to her return to the fray on 29th Feb at the Hard Dance Awards in Sheffield.

"It is with deep regret that I've had to suspend all gigs until the start of March," Lashes explained. "I am hopeful and confident that with the extra recovery period these cancellations bring, it will enable me to give 100% the next time I play at the Hard Dance Awards - Sheffield (29th February). I have not taken this decision lightly and I would like to take this opportunity to apologise to those fans who have been left disappointed. Rest assured, I will be back!"
