Leeds Superclub Refurbished

Leeds superclub Mission reopens its doors this weekend, after a 1.5m refurbishment.

Ravers in Leeds are bracing themselves for the grand reopening of one of its biggest venues this weekend.

Mission in Heaton Square has had a 1.5m refurbishment, which its owners are touting as 'probably the best refit in the world.'

A brand new main dancefloor has been added, which is twice the size of the previous one, while a groovy split-level chillout space complete with lounges and beds has also been built, along with an all-weather outdoor terrace for punters wishing to get some fresh air.

Clubbers will also be greeted by a swanky new reception area and posh bods will be able to relax in a new exclusive two-level VIP room.

Old regulars to Mission will be pleased to know that the club has retained its famous Funktion One soundsystem, which Mission's owners claim is still the best in Leeds.

The launch weekend will see hard house mega-brand Tidy take over Mission on Friday 29th September.

As part of the grand opening, the Tidy Boys have organised an intimate gig in a private part of the club for just 150 hand-picked fans.

On the night only those with special tickets will be able to watch the duo as they broadcast live over Galaxy Radio.

A competition was set up to allocate 50 special tickets, while the first 100 people through the door of Mission on the night will also get tickets for the exclusive gig.

Rob Tissera's house night Kissdafunk has also come onboard with the new Mission, and will hold monthly parties at the club.
