Chicago house legend Gene Hunt, has opened up his treasure chest of unheard productions from the early '80s, for a new EP 'Gene Vs Gene EP Pt.1' out next month. Produced in the sophomore years of Hunt's career, the 'Gene Vs Gene EP Pt.1' has dropped on vinyl via Opilec Music, with the digital version available from 18^th May.

‘Drive Yourself Nuts’ is a classic bit of Chicago jack, full of punchy drums, wonky stabs and a series of coarse claps. Second track, 'Wildside D Dubb' continues the peak time theme, it's bass bleeding acid house at it's very best.
