Lovebox afterparties are go!

Lovebox afterparties are go!

If you're going to Lovebox and you've got the stamina, why not drop in on one of the post-event parties happening around London this Saturday night 21st August? There are some wicked rave-ups going on, with two of the best being Burn Up! at 93 Feet East, and Halo at The Cross.

Burn Up! - an extension of the successful Burn Out parties at Bar 45 - will feature the incomparably dope electro-disco skills of DJ duo Rub 'n' Tug, busting out their DFA-affiliated punk funk, electro, house and techno, with more wicked talent in the form of K.I.M. from Modular electro dudes the Presets, tipped Kitsuné act Punks Jump Up and No Disko's Zak Frost. There will also be a special guest mystery playing live. It promises to be a blinder.

Halo meanwhile features techno uberlords Dan Berskon and Pokerflat's James What, bringing the tough grooves alongside Halo residents Monkey Roberts and Chris Hartnett in Arch One; jacking house and electro from Jay Da Funk, Red Eleven, Jason Sears,
and Roastgroove's Steve Rothery; and soul and funk in Arch Three from the Velvet Audio crew, featuring Loud Minority, Jason Sears, Chris Hartnett and Kev Reynolds. It's gonna be hot.

Burn Up! runs from 8pm 'til 3am, and is free before 8, £5 before 10pm, and £10 after. Halo runs from 10pm 'til 6am with door tax £15. Be there or be square.
