Mark Ronson mixes Michael Jackson’s biggest hits into single commemorative track

‘Diamonds Are Invincible’ is the name of the five-minute mini-mix

Mark Ronson has mixed some of Michael Jackson’s most iconic hits into a five-minute track called ‘Diamonds Are Invincible’ for the late kind of pop's 60th birthday.

The mini-mix slaloms through various unforgettable songs, including ‘Billie Jean’, ‘Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough’, ‘Smooth Criminal’, ‘Earth Song’ and others.

Collaborating with Michael Jackson’s estate, the release is part of birthday celebrations for the star, including a special Jackson-themed performance of Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas, called ‘Michael Jackson ONE’, as well as a dedicated party at the Daylight Beach Club.

“It was such an amazing, awe-inspiring and insanely intimidating task to put this together, although you’d need hours and hours to fit all of Michael’s classic tunes into one track,” said Ronson.

“I wanted this to feel like being on the dance floor at a sweaty, wild NYC club getting down to as much MJ as possible in five minutes.”

“And I can’t wait for you to all hear the extended version coming soon.”

Ronson has had a typically busy year, recently releasing a new track 'Loud' with Diplo as part of their collaborative moniker, Silk City.

The Silk City duo have also made a track with Dua Lipa.
