The official trailer has been shared for Carl Cox and Martin Garrix's documentary, What We Started.

The film, which will be screened on 22nd March in Regal Cinema's South 18 in Miami during ULTRA festival, will be available to watch on Netflix from June. Other select theatres showing the documentary ahead of its general release include one in New York on 23rd March and Los Angeles' American Cinematheque’s Egyptian Theater on 29th March.

The documentary premiered last year at Los Angeles Film Festival. Focussing on the massively successful and vastly different careers of two of the industry's biggest stars, Martin Garrix and Carl Cox, What We Started tells the story of dance music's ever-changing culture over the past three decades and features interviews and commentary from the likes of David Guetta, Moby, Tiësto, Richie Hawtin and Paul Oakenfold. As you'll see in the trailer below, some interviewees had more seering opinions on the documentary's young star than others...

What We Started is written, produced and directed by Bert Marcus and Cyrus Saidi, with additional production work from Cassandra Hamar.

Martin Garrix and Carl Cox have each been having a pretty big year so far with the 21-year-old releasing a new track under his AREA21 alias this week along with a collaboration with David Guetta set to drop next week. Both artists are set to return to Tomorrowland this summer, with Garrix hosting his STMPD RCRDS stage for the second year running.
