M.I.A TO HEADLINE LONDON'S LOVEBOX

Chase & Status also play live in their home city

M.I.A has just been confirmed to headline Lovebox festival in London this summer. The festival, which has been running for twelve years, once again returns to Victoria Park in Hackney, East London on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th July.

Named after one of their albums, Lovebox was set up by Groove Armada in 2002 — although they have now sold their shares in the event. This year the people behind the Secret Garden Party have teamed with the Mama Group to organise the fest, promising all sorts of weird and wonderful sideshow attractions along with a top-notch line-up.

Chase & Status play live, and fellow bass fiend Sub Focus will also be showcasing his stage show. Shy FX and Stamina MC are also on the bill, along with Joy Orbison, Gaslamp Killer and Cyril Hahn. Other notable names on the bill include Scuba, Paul Woolford, Martinez Brothers, Huxley, Horsemeat Disco and the mighty Visionquest.

Also at Lovebox are chill fiends Mount Kimbie and Bonobo; rappers A$AP Rocky, Joey Badass, Madlib and Knytro; urban songstress Katy B; plus David Rodigan, Duke Dumont, Submotion Orchestra, Crystal Fighters, Moderat and many more.

Presumably, M.I.A will do 'Paper Planes'...
