Mike Skinner, Mr. Scruff, Barely Legal, more added to Boardmasters off-site parties

More names added include Disciples, Sam Supplier, Mollie Collins and many more...

Boardmasters has revealed a series of off-site parties set to take place in Newquay town centre during the festival weekend of Thursday 9th to Sunday 12th August.

TR7 is a series of specially curated events to take place in the Cornwall town where the festival is held and will feature numerous club nights and boat parties to coincide with the weekend’s other festivities.

Names added to the bill for TR7’s events include The Streets’ Mike Skinner, who will play local venue Berties on Thursday. Bristol garage duo Eton Messy will also be throwing a boat party in the day while DJ Yoda will play at Walkabout.

The legendary Mr Scruff will play on Fistral Beach on Friday while grime producer and KISS FM DJ Rude Kid will be at Berties. On Saturday in the same place, DJ Hype & DJ Hazard will be playing drum & bass along with the South West’s own Crisis MC.

On Sunday, recent DJ Mag at Work guests Disciples will play Sailors while Holy Goof, Barely Legal and Mollie Collins will play Berties. Meanwhile, BBC Radio 1Xtra’s Sian Anderson will play Dead Famous.

DJ Mag will be streaming live from the festival’s Point Stage presented by Relentless. Names on the festival’s electronic focussed stage for Friday include Claptone, Idris Elba, Booka Shade and Butch. On Saturday, names include Skream, Steve Lawler, Monki and Or:la. Bicep will headline the stage with a DJ set on Sunday, preceded by the likes of Tiga, Denis Sulta and HAAi.

Elsewhere on the line-up, the likes of the The Horrors, Songhoy Blues, Catfish and the Bottlemen and Editors are all playing, plus interactive events like a stand-up comedy hour and language workshops teaching ravers the local Cornish dialect.
