Native City launch - exclusive mix

New label and club night from Hannah Holland and Deboa

The driving force behind London club night and label Batty Bass, Hannah Holland launches new sister label Native City, run alongside long-time collaborator Deboa, with a Sunday afternoon party at The Book Club, East London, on September 30th.

Inspired by what the pair call, “London's dynamic culture of bass abundant house and techno and the uplifting atmosphere of Berlin's hallmark Sunday afternoon sessions,” the label's debut release - out 1st October - takes in swinging drums, low-riding bass and vintage house stabs on 'Fight', a collision of the capital's most vibrant club scenes, adding tribal chanting and military drums to the deep, driving mix of 'Skentello'. Remixes come from Citizen, who recently signed to Kerry Chandler's Madtech Records, newcomers Donewrong and Hannah herself.

Joining Hannah and Deboa at the launch are Trade legend Smokin' Jo and label signing JP. As a special taster we have an exclusive 30 minute mix from Hannah showcasing some of what you'll be able to hear at the party.
