New pacemaker!
The Pacemaker posse have just announced a new, cheaper version of the world's smallest DJ device.
The half-pint Pacemaker 60GB brings the price down from £469 to £299 and will be readily available across the UK's DJ stores and HMV in April.
The new firmware that will work on both players is out now and features one-button automix, and a visual beatmatching aid. There's a host of new effects too, such as Crush and Phase EQ (wah), which can be freely assigned to the four FX slots. Crates and letter searching has been added to the vastly improved track navigation.
We got the lowdown at our work Christmas party and made a little video for djmag.tv. Pacemaker also made their online audio player into a widget so users can embed it in websites and blogs. Pacemaker.net
