Nile Rodgers and Chic share first single from new album, 'Till The World Falls': Listen
It's about time!
Nile Rodgers and Chic have shared the first official single to be lifted from their forthcoming album 'It's About Time'
'Till The World Falls' features vocals from Vic Mensa and Cosha (FKA Bonzai) and production from pop wonderkid Mura Masa. The track, which serves as our introduction to the first Chic album in 26 years, was written by Rodgers, Mura Masa, Anderson .Paak, anaïs, Vic Mensa, and NAO. NAO also provided vocals on 'Boogie All Night', another album track which was debuted on Later... With Jools Holland earlier this month.
Earlier this week, Rodgers co-hosted a special show on Apple Music’s Beats 1 with Matt Wilkinson where, among other stories, discussed how he and Pharrell Williams are often confused for Daft Punk by the newer wave of fans of the French robots.“It’s funny," he said. "Because a lot of young kids who don't know Daft Punk prior to that think that Pharrell and I are Daft Punk and that the robots are like some props!”
