Omar S to play marathon 20-hour Detroit party on Monday

Where Are My Keys? will also feature Sadar Bahar, Osunlade, Move D and more...

Omar S will play a 20-hour party in Detroit on Monday 28th May, capping off the city's Movement Electronic Music Festival weekend and giving anyone without Memorial Day plans a pretty tempting offer.

Where Are My Keys? will take over Marble Bar, opening for dancing at 9AM and only kicking revellers out at 4AM on Tuesday 29th May. Already established as the best way to end the most hedonistic few days in the Motor City calendar, this year's line-up is no exception to the rule of quality.

The town proudly lays claim to being the birthplace of techno, and our feature looking at 10 new artists from Detroit proves how vital that scene remains, but the running order in this instance leans more towards house music.

In addition to Omar S, Chicago Smart Bar veteran Sadar Bahar, tribal disco general Osunlade, German decade-spanner Move D, Invisible City and Tama Sumo are all down to spin. Two dancefloors will be used, one inside the other outside, with the likes of Marvin & Guy and Eli Soul Clap aka Bamboozle also involved, and likely to play some suitably sun-drenched rhythms during the marathon.
