Perfecto Goes Digital

New digital wing to Oakenfold's empire

Dance music colossus Paul Oakenfold is set to launch his Perfecto imprint into the digital realm this February. Teaming up with digi distributor INgrooves, Oakie plans to use the new platform to expose up-and-coming producers and artists.

"I'm really excited to have this new face to the label which is going to open the door for a lot of upcoming, talented artists and producers. It feels like we've had so much great music locked away for a while and now we have the chance to unleash it," the DJ/producer confided.

Perfecto Digital have a torrent of new releases ready to drop. First up are some brand spanking new remixes. Liam Shachar takes on 'On All My Sundays' by Belfast rockers Leya, while Adam White tackles Nat Monday's 'Break & Fall'. Also in the offing are Robert Vadney's storming electro remake of Peter Gabriel's 'Sledgehammer' and the massive new 'jumpstyle' (fast Dutch trance) cut 'Frozen Flame' by Jekyll & Hyde. The tracks will be available through all the major digital retailers. Check www.perfectorecords.com for more info.
