Pieces of Eight

The Nocturn controller cleverly integrates several puns into its nomenclature. Or in more strigh forward terms it features eight turny knobs for controlling your Midi gear for playing in clubs after dark. This last bit is down to the fact that each knob is surrounded by an LED ring for high visibility. Novation's Automap 2 technology is inside, featuring a revolutionary new 'heads-up transparent control GUI'. Automap Universal 2.0 places a transparent control map across your computer screen, to be recalled or hidden at will. Little or no user setup is required, and plug-in control can be customized to be laid out just the way you like it, no matter what music software you use.

Even though prices are yet to be announced, it's rumoured to be their cheapest controller to date and will be out in the next couple of months.
