Amazing additions to Snowbombing line-up

Described as the "snowy Ibiza" by Justin Robertson, the incredible apré-ski event that is Snowbombing has just announced some exciting new acts that will be joining the already voluminous bill in Mayrhofen, Austria.

Taking place from 31st March – 6th April 2008, in the popular Austrian ski-resort, Snowbombing has an increased focus on live music this year, as well as amazing DJs.

Just announced as headliners, infamous nutty boys Madness will be topping the bill, bringing their two-tone ska and classic pop melodies to melt the ice.

Hot new contenders Foals (pictured above) have also been added, and will no doubt be bringing their techno-influenced, Afro-funk punk to the live stage, and colourful electro-pop whizkid Calvin Harris will be coming correct with plenty of his outrageous '80s synth action.

Manchester tech rockers The Whip - currently riding high with their killer 'Sister Siam' single - promise to ignite the stage too, alongside enfant terriblés of electro, the brilliantly named Does it Offend You, Yeah?

DJ action already confirmed runs the groove gamut, with junglists Nu:Tone, Marky, Marcus Intalex, Zinc, housers like Lee Burridge, Jon Carter, Ewan Pearson, Jesse Rose and Hervé, and breakbeat dons Krafty Kuts, Stanton Warriors, Soul of Man and Tayo all appearing, along with tons more.

Of course, if you're partial to a bit of boarding or skiing some of the best slopes in Europe await you.

There's simply an avalanche of fun to be had so get booking your tickets now! Price packages can be found on their website at snowbombing.com and flights to nearby Innsbruck can be found on easyjet.com and ba.com.
