When is a festival not a festival? Some would say that festivals, by their very nature, need to be outdoors in the mud and rain to truly be included in the class. Yet others, such as Sonar in Barcelona have thrived on their mud-free status.
But regardless of whether it is a 'real' festival or a two day club event, Playground Festival, which takes place at Brixton Academy on 7th & 8th June has a line up that would shame many outdoor soirees into retirement.
The event is headlined by the legendary Gary Numan. He is joined by a range of acts from the world's of underground techno (Model 500), bass (Deadboy, Boddika) house (Krystal Klear, No Artificial Colours) and big room electronica (UNKLE, Wolfgang Flur) creating a truly a diverse and exciting line up.
Presale tickets are available now.
