What's that? Another Brazilian club in the poll? What next? Top 100 Brazilian clubs? After launching into the poll at 39 as a new entry last year, the only way is up for Sky Room. Climbing five places this time around, this indigo room in the heart of Ribeirão Preto, a municipality in the north east of Sao Paulo state, looks more like Laser Quest than a club. Characterised by its ceiling lined by flashing domes and giant walls mapped by high definition LED visuals, Sky Room is what we expect the future to be like. Its soundtrack is pretty forward thinking too. A club that prefers to promote the rapidly spreading local deep house scene — Alok, Vintage Culture, Gabe — than mindlessly splash cash on overpriced EDM superstars, they've also flown over the likes of Betoko, Boris Brejcha and Wolf Pack in recent months to keep the atmosphere as explosive as the jets of CO2 shooting down onto the dancefloor.
