What do Italian house and techno legend, Alex Neri and fast rising, Florence-based DJ talent, Marco Faraone have in common? They're both residents at Italy's Tenax Club. Aside from spinning in Tenax's DJ booth, Neri also mastheads the club's reputable imprint, Tenax Recordings, who have hosted cuts from Italian scene staples including Federico Grazzini, Ilario Alicante and Luca Bacchetti.
Established in '81, Tenax started its life as a haven for punk and new wave before morphing into the underground techno temple it is today. Regular sets from Italian DJ royalty Davide Squillace and Joseph Capriati seal Tenax's status as one of Italy's best, attracting swathes of cool club kids each weekend.
