Spanish minimal electro innovator Annie Hall is set to debut on MUSAR on 21st September with the release of her ‘Statics’ EP.

With 13 years production experience behind her and releases charted on labels such as CPU, Detroit Underground and Semantica, Hall has cut a distinct niche for herself, always veering deftly from melodic and bassy IDM complexity to sprawling electro grove.

‘Statics’ is no different. Featuring four original cuts (plus a remix from Dutch producer Mattheis), Hall shifts from the bass-heavy workout of ‘Lavandula’ to the hectic percussion of ‘Siline’ before drifting off with the fizzing, popping electronics of ‘Santolina’.

Opening up proceedings though is ‘Linium’, which opens with lush, vibrant new age ambience before launching into a mesmerising – and slightly acidic – analog jam that feels almost as Balearic as it does galactic.
