PREMIERE: CLAPTONE

Get the 'Ghost' of house

Claptone is dance music’s golden beaked conundrum. Flying off the German Club Charts in 2012 with 'Cream', a hypnotic deep house debut, and directly into our aural G-spot, where the enigmatic artist remains permeating. Once inside, there’s no getting the bird-esque beatsmith with mystique out of your brain – not that we’d want Claptone to fly away.

For now the pointy masked music avenger's identity is locked up with the Holy Grail. Fresh releases from Claptone, however, are being un-caged - and it won't take a riddle-laced map to discover your new house fetish.

Claptone’s hauntingly rich arrangements on 'Ghost' are served up under vocals from singer Alec Ounsworth of indie rock band Clap Your Hands And Say Yeah. The tune is an anomaly that can induce anything from emotional grit to pure dance floor magic.

Listen to it first on DJ Mag before the official release on Exploited, February 10.
