Premiere: Ejeca ‘Find Me’

Ejeca makes his Pets Recordings debut with ‘Find Me’, a triple threat of anthemic, Detroit energy. The title tracks has all the hallmarks of a house classic with triumphant piano stabs and vocal cuts...

Belfast’s Ejeca has been carving his name as a multifaceted DJ/producer for the past number of years, becoming known for his blistering club sets that veer contentedly between house, techno and trance.

With productions and DJ sets that always burst with triumphant energy – Not to mention live sets under his Trance Wax monicker – it’s no surprise that this latest outing from Mr. McCartney is as electrified as they come.

‘Find Me’ finds Ejeca channelling his inner Floorplan, taking Robert Hood’s penchant for anthemic piano stabs and heady kicks and turning it into something resolutely soulful and anthemic. The title track feels like a classic unearthed from the the late ‘90s, boasting all the hallmarks of a cut that feels familiar and nostalgic while remaining completely fresh.

Along with B-Side ‘Mesh’, the EP also comes with a wobbly techno remix of the title track by Addison Groove.

‘Find Me’ is out on the 20th July. Pre-order it here.

Ejeca plays an all-night long set in Dublin's District 8 tonight 13th July. Tickets are available here
