Enrico Sangiuliano returns to Drumcode in June with his new album ‘Biomorph’. A nine-track, four-part epic intended to chart the stages of evolution, it finds the Italian producer on the finest form of his career.
The album combs the dark with light, progressive techno expansiveness with tight, propulsive minimalism. There are moments of melodic euphoria fused with breaks-inspired introspection. It’s quite something.
‘Two Probabilities’ – premiering below – is a sprawling 13-minute adventure in deep techno escapism and serves as the album’s triumphant peak. Divided into two parts, ‘New Dawn’ and ‘End of Life’ it’s a transportational progressive piece that will warrant many a repeated listen.
