PREMIERE: LUPE FUENTES AND RUN DMC

Lupe Fuentes gives DMC a RUN for his money in our free download, “Get Down”

Buttered on the dancefloors of Spain, jellied in the clubs of LA, Lupe Fuentes is seasoned to become a flavorful new toast of house music.

Barely a year in the game and she’s had releases on labels that read like a rap sheet - Guesthouse, Undercool, Nervous, Defined, Brobot, Inhouse, to name a few. Fuentes has spun her way into the scene with dogged prowess and a fresh-faced approach to tech house that tips its hat to the old-school.

After working with artists like Level Groove and percussion legend Bobo of Cypress Hill, Fuentes is ponying up for DJ Mag,  her latest collaborative bomb, “Get Down” alongisde OG rapper and cultural icon Daryll “DMC” McDaniels - aka one-half of rap pioneers RUN DMC.

“When I am making tracks, they have to pass the dance floor test and they have to be funky,” Lupe Fuentes tells us.  “I love to create deep tracks that really jack and I look for  things that sound mean and make me wanna move. Having an opportunity to put my name alongside DMC from RUN DMC is just over the top. I’m happy to share this with DJ Mag and all the House Heads around the world.”

It’s our pleasure. And now yours... we dare you not to get up to “Get Down.”
