Italian DJ and producer Mennie makes his Flashmob Ltd debut, and we've bagged the premiere of the title track, 'Callin''.
The Italian producer has been gaining plaudits from all corners of the scene since breaking through with his 2012 disco house hit 'Get Enough', which was named in Beatport's top 10 tracks of 2012.
Since then, the producer has move his output towards more forward-thinking house, and that's what we've have for you today.
The EP’s a-side, ‘Callin’’, draws on a range of influences from early New York house to more laidback Mediterranean vibes, as the Italian producer blends low-slung basslines with shuffling hi-hats before bringing the track to the boil for a fitting crescendo.
The releases' b-side, 'Edgin' Edge', sees the Italian producer on a slightly deeper tip, as bulbous basslines collide with swirling synths and snappy hi-hats, for a more jackin' groove.
Not only has Mennie had a string of well recieved releases on labels including Suara, Exploited Ghetto, Nurvous, and now Flashmob Ltd, he also holds down a residency at legendary Club 999 in his native Italy.
'Callin'' is out 22nd June via Flasmob's imprint, Flashmob Ltd.
