Premiere: Will Saul ‘The Map Room’

Aus Music label boss Will Saul returns with his first solo outing in four years. ‘The Map Room’ is a typically hefty dose of cavernous percussion and cold atmosphere...

Will Saul’s Aus Music, if you are unaware, has been one of the most pivotal UK labels of the past decade in promoting cutting edge house and techno with a loyal gaze cast always to the forward-thinking sounds of dub and bass music.

An early champion of names such as Joy Orbison, Midland and Appleblim, Saul is also a formidable DJ/producer in his own right and now he is stepping up with his first solo single in four years with ‘Bugs’.

Set for release this Friday 25th May via Aus, ‘Bugs’ features two original cuts as well as a suitably showstopping remix by recent DJ Mag Podcast feature Matt Karmil.

The title track is a clamorous, jazz drum lead affair with sparkling keys and oodles of swing. ‘The Map Room’ – premiering below – meanwhile, is a more sturdy offering, a typically hefty dose of cavernous percussion and cold atmosphere.
