PREMIERE: YOANN FEYNMAN & MONOMOTION

FAKE MUSIC founders' new dark 'Noir' EP will let out your inner beast.

Paris-based company FAKE MUSIC is a fast-rising record label. Their catalog boasts edgy releases that span anywhere from high-octane, funky dark techno to spacey, low tempo inspired deep house.

Their latest, a collaborative effort between Yoann Feynman and Monomotion, is a tense and jarring two-track techno EP titled 'Noir' with distorted industrial elements designed to create pure unfiltered chaos for an afterparty in a dim-lit dungeon-like basement. Deriving inspiration from the likes of fellow Frenchman like Gesaffelstein, The Hacker and more, the thunderous looped organ basslines and vicious snares in the title track is like watching Wesley Snipes transform into a merciless human vampire in Blade. In "Gaza", the mesmerizing shuffling low end acid basslines create the perfect bone-crushing, bad guy slamming anthem.
