THE PRODIGY TO HEADLINE SZIGET

Skrillex and Calvin Harris also down for Hungary fest

The Prodigy have just been announced as headlining the Sziget Festival in Hungary this August. The festival is in its 22nd year now, and takes place on an island in the middle of the capital city, Budapest.

As well as Keith, Liam and Maxim's explosive live blockbusting breakbeat bonanza, Skrillex will also be testing the bassbins with his dubstep and bass music fusions. One of the biggest DJs in the world, Calvin Harris is also set to lay down some big-hitting EDM, and Laidback Luke from Holland is also on the bill.

Jagwar Ma, Bonobo, Fink, La Roux, Klaxons, Placebo, Lily Allen, London Grammar, Darkside, Borgore and Kavinsky live are other acts who'll be playing during the course of the week's festivities.

The Island Of Freedom will again attract over 400,000 revellers between August 11th – 18th. As well as a top music line-up, it also has tons of other cultural activity such as theatre, circus, exhibitions and so on. Being based right in the middle of Budapest, it also has all the other cultural activity that the city has to offer.

Camping is available on-site, although hotel rooms nearby are comparatively cheap too. Tickets start at 169 Euros, available here
